Why do we call Jehovah by his first name and not our parents?
by life is to short ini owe this question entirely to hadit but i cannot get this thought out of my head.
all i heard growing up was that we have to call god jehovah because they are many god's, this way jehovah knows we are trying to speak to him.
that is just one of many reasons the fds and wt say to why we much call him jehovah.

We? I don't call this god at all.
I tried to put in him in a box next to my other gods but he could not be found; probably still drifting around the desert setting fire to bushes and showing off to Israelites.

GOD doesn't need a morally acceptable reason for waiting thousands of years to end wickedness. When you are as big as Him you can do what the hell you want!
GOD owns the whole world and universe and Utah. He is above reproach and what He does is automatically right. It's all in the Bible so how hard can it be to understand? Whinging about Him allowing wickedness is wickedness in itself.
GOD is one of the friends in high places that you want to keep on the payroll and suck up to if you want to get out of this world alive. His Son is also worth cultivating. This Batman and Robin team could be all you have to protect you on the terrible day of vengeance that will end wickedness - until the next time.

How would a god or 'mighty one' end wickedness? If wickedness reoccurs then the god has failed to end wickedness.
If the god acts again and the method involves extinguishing more lives on earth and in heaven, then the god's action would be part of the problem and not the solution.

if it's not morally upright for an individual or an entity to "play god" (we're not talking about identity, because god can't be anything but what s/he/it is), then why is it morally upright for god to "play god"?..

Angels are all male?
by sabastious ingenesis 6: 1, 2 - 1 when human beings began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them, 2 the sons of god saw that the daughters of humans were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose.. so angels are only attracted to female humans.. anyone else find this extremely telling?.

A person is identified as male or female by their sexual organs. Their sexual preference has nothing to do with what sex they are. Such organs are part of the physical reproduction process. The sex urge is natures way of ensuring that we keep on keeping on and produce lots of little worshipers to keep The great spirit in the sky happy.
Now I have never actually met a 'spirit person,' much less an angel, but for such creatures to be male or female they would have to have sexual organs. In which case they they would have to be physical and would not be spirit creatures. This amazing truth, that you will not find in your bible, has been brought to you by Gladiator!
